This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally identifiable information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

Please read my privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how I collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information on my website.

How do I protect your information?

My website is scanned regularly for malware and other security issues such as known vulnerabilities to make your visit to my website safe.

Your personal information is contained behind a secure network firewall and is only accessible by me.

I implement up-to-date security measures when you enter and submit your information into a contact form to maintain the safety of your personal information.

Do I use 'cookies'?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a website or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if your settings allow) that enables the site or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and remember certain information.

I use cookies to:

• Understand and save your preferences for future visits.

• Compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. I may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on my behalf.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.

Third-Party Disclosure

I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist me in operating my website, conducting my business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Third-Party links

Occasionally, at my discretion, I may include or offer third-party products or services on my website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Therefore I have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of my website and welcome any feedback about these sites.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. This law's reach stretches beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy. - See more at:

In accordance with CalOPPA's  policy, I agree to the following:

It's important to note that I do not allow third-party behavioral tracking

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

I do not specifically market to children under 13.

Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to complying with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

To be in line with Fair Information Practices I will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:

I will notify the users via email

      • Within 7 business days

I will notify the users via in-site notification

      • Within 7 business days

I also agree with the individual redress principle, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

I collect your email address to:

      • Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

To be in accordance with CANSPAM I agree to the following:

      • NOT use false, or misleading subjects or email addresses

      • Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way

      • Include the physical address of my business or site headquarters
